Yes. One handpicked match, every Tuesday at 7pm. We'd rather give you one person worth meeting than a feed to scroll forever.
What do you do with my data? +
We never sell it, full stop. Your music and your talks with Rifflect are used for one thing: matching you.
The matching runs automatically. Our campus ambassadors never see your data, and even our own team can't see your name next to your answers: they're stored separately.
Sometimes we share anonymized patterns, like "econ majors are more likely to want something serious." But we will never say anything about you personally.
What will my match know about me before the date? +
You tell us a lot, they see a little. Your match sees your profile, the tracks you chose, and why you matched. And you have the final say on all of it: anything you want private, you can make private, and it stays off your profile and even nobody on our team it. It's only used behind the scenes to give you better matches.
What if we don't click, or someone declines? +
Nothing's wasted. Tell us what was off, and we'll use it to pick a stronger match next Tuesday.
What if I can't make it last minute? +
Life happens. Cancel in the app asap — we'll let your match know and help you rebook. Just don't ghost, so you don't get banned from future experiences.
Can I message my match first? +
Nope, there's no chat with your match on Rifflect. If you both say yes within 24 hours, we book the date. Small talk not required.
Do I have to talk to Rifflect? +
You can both talk and text or AI matchmaker. Talking is the fastest way for us to get who you are without any forms.
Your voice recording is also never listened to by anyone ever. We only use it to create a transcript, then work from the text.
Who can join? +
Any student with a valid .edu email, verified, so everyone's real.
